HVD Group becomes Aceve and accelerates its expansion across Europe

STOCKHOLM. March 12, 2025. Today, HVD Group, the Nordic leader in software solutions for the construction and skilled trades industry, is changing its company name to Aceve. Following an eventful 2024 marked by continued growth, a new majority owner in EQT, and several sizable acquisitions, Aceve continues to expand its operations in the European market.

With more than 50 years of experience in providing software solutions to the construction and skilled trades industry and more than 15,000 customers, Aceve is the clear Nordic market leader. The company has strengthened its product platform with a number of strategic acquisitions during the last couple of years, which are being integrated into Aceve’s organisation and are now coming together under one common brand.

“The consolidation of our brands is a gradual process and a natural consequence of our work to create synergies across our leading SaaS solutions to maximise efficiency and innovation for our customers. By gathering all of our strengths and expertise, we can provide a pioneering platform that supercharges construction companies and skilled tradespeople to achieve more”, says Mikael Viotti, CEO of Aceve.

The new name, Aceve, is derived from the word “achieve”, which means to successfully reach a goal, result, or aim. By using Aceve’s state-of-the-art platform, customers can spend less time on administration and more time on their core business to achieve improved performance, productivity, and profitability. Additionally, by optimising their operations and resources usage, customers can also reduce emissions and waste.

“We envision a new digital era for the construction and skilled trades industry. An era where the industry has evolved from lagging behind to leading the way in the digital transformation. Our solutions enable our customers to spend less time on admin with key functionalities such as project and order management, scheduling, time reporting, procurement, documentation handling, invoicing, and CO2 reporting. This helps our customers to grow their business”, says Mikael Viotti.

2024 was one of the most eventful years in Aceve’s history, as the company embarked on the next phase of its growth journey together with its new majority owner EQT. In the coming years, Aceve aims to continue its European expansion and triple its size through a combination of organic growth and strategic acquisitions.

The construction and skilled trades industry is one of the largest in the world but also one of the least digitalised. Aceve supports the industry’s transition by providing a cloud-based end-to-end software platform. The digitalisation shift in the market is expected to drive double-digit market growth for decades to come, says Craig Hayman, Chair of the Board of Aceve.

The launch of Aceve marks the start of a transition to becoming a one-brand company. At this stage, the name change only affects HVD Group, although all its brands will receive new logotypes to reinforce their connection to Aceve. Towards the end of 2025, all brands will start implementing the new visual identity of Aceve, and by 2026-2027, the consolidation into one brand will be finalised.
